Strawberry Paws: Terms of Service & Master Agreement

This document constitutes the entire legal agreement between Strawberry Paws (“the Service Provider”) and the Pet Owner (“the Client”). By booking any service, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.


1. Scope of Service

Strawberry Paws provides professional dog walking, pet sitting, and home visit services. We primarily serve the Leeds LS15, LS25, and LS26 areas. All services are performed with reasonable care and skill in accordance with UK animal welfare standards and are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Integration of Policies

This Agreement incorporates the following specific policies, which can be viewed in full at www.strawberry-paws.co.uk/policies-and-procedures/. The Client acknowledges that these policies form part of this legally binding contract:

  • Refund and Cancellation Policy
  • Emergency Veterinary Care Policy
  • Aggressive Animal Policy (Dogs & Cats)
  • Off-Lead Walking Policy
  • Key Holding & Security Policy
  • Inclement Weather Policy
  • Wellness & Contagious Disease Policy
  • Photo & Social Media Policy
  • House Sitting & Home Visit Policy
  • Puppy & Senior Care Policy
  • Continuity of Care (Emergency Coverage) Policy
  • Privacy Policy (GDPR)

3. Bookings and Financial Terms

  • Payment: All services must be paid for in full at the time of booking. A booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
  • Refunds: All refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Requests must be submitted in writing to strawb3rryyy.paws@gmail.com.
  • No-Shows: If a walker arrives and cannot access the property or the pet is not present, the session is charged in full.

4. Client Responsibilities and Liability

  • Disclosure: The Client must provide accurate health and behavioural information. Failure to disclose aggression may lead to immediate termination of service without a refund.
  • Liability: The Client remains legally liable for any damage or injury caused by their pet to any person, property, or other animal.
  • Indemnity: The Client agrees to indemnify Strawberry Paws against any costs or claims arising from the pet’s behaviour or pre-existing health conditions.

5. Emergencies and Welfare

  • Medical Care: In an emergency, Strawberry Paws is authorised to seek veterinary care. All costs incurred are the sole responsibility of the Client.
  • Continuity: In the event of an operator emergency (e.g., vehicle breakdown), the Client authorises our designated emergency contact to assist with the pet’s immediate safety.

6. Property Access and Privacy

  • Security: Strawberry Paws will ensure the property is secured as per the Key Holding & Security Policy.
  • Data: All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
